In my opinion, what really counts is not failure itself, but our attitude towards it and what we can learn from it. In the face of failure, we should summarize what short comings this failure reflects inour own,  and find ways to correct these short comings. It also lets us know that this approach will not make us successful and we should come up with new method next time. Only when we have confidence in ourselves and learn something from failure, can we have a successful future.
