1、Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on online dictionaries. You can start your essay with the sentence "Online dictionaries are becoming increasingly popular". You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

Section A

Directions: In this section, you will hear three news reports. At the end of each news report, you will hear two or three questions. Both the news report and the questions will be spoken only once. After you hear a question, you must choose the best answer from the four choices marked A, B, C and D.     4．第2段第3句的“自……开始”暗示本句采用现在完成时。“海上丝绸之路”固定译法为the Maritime Silk Road。

    5．第3段由两个分句组成一个长句，遇到此类情况一般可采用拆译法。此处，分号前两个短句可合译；翻译分号后的短句时，可将“可以帮助缓解疲劳”和“有镇静作用”处理为并列的平行结构。最后一个短句是前面提到的茅台的作用的结果，可用therefore来表明因果关系。

    6．第3段五个短句的主语皆为“茅台”，故也可像参考译文译作一个长句。“味道柔和……的香味”可作为前置定语。翻译主句“适量饮用……作用”时，可用平行结构。最后，表结果的分句可采用for which引导的非限制性定语从句译出。
