Section A

Directions: In this section, you will hear three news reports. At the end of each news report, you will hear two or three questions. Both the news report and the questions will be spoken only once. After you hear a question, you must choose the best answer from the four choices ……此处隐藏79916个字…… and day out;“等待着能再捡到撞死在树上的兔子”表示伴随情况，可翻译成现在分词短语，即hoping for picking up more dead rabbits like this.

    5．第五句：“等呀等”翻译为waited and waited；“等了一天又一天”翻译为day after day(前面已经出现waited，故此处省译)；“田地也荒芜了”翻译为The fields got deserted，这里get是系动词，表示“变得”，巧妙地表达出田地从“可耕作”沦落到“荒芜”的变化状态；“却再也没有等到第二只兔子”翻译为but he never got a second rabbit，“a second+名词”表示“又一个……，再一个……”。

    6．第六句：“他把偶然当成了必然”是“嘲笑”的原因，故翻译为介词短语for taking the accidental as the inevitable，其中“把……当成……”译成take…as…这一结构。
