Firstly, books are the most comprehensive source of knowledge from which we can get all the nourishment we need for our mind. Secondly, books are quite cheap and available everywhere. Finally, reading is the most flexible of all the ways to obtain knowledge. Compared with listening to radio or watching TV, we can read books whenever and wherever we like, and we can read as many times as we wish.
However, there is one problem about reading. There are all kinds of books in the world, good or bad. Good books are beneficial to our soul while bad ones are harmful to our mind. Therefore, it is of great importance for us to separate good plants from wild weeds.
